Bishopton – 12

Liberton – 17

The Ladies completed their first full competitive season on Easter Sunday with an away trip to face Liberton. It was a narrow defeat and a fiercely competitive game enjoyed by players and spectators alike. It was also an emotional day which saw Sarah Milnes captain her last game, after being at the helm, as co-captain and later captain, since our inception in 2018. Luckily for us, she’s not going anywhere and will still be a force of nature and strong voice on the pitch next season.

It was also Head Coach, Dave Carey’s final game in charge. We would like to thank Dave for all the time and effort he has put into getting the ladies to this point and his commitment in taking us through our first competitive season. Go relax and enjoy yourself now, Dave!

Andy Jackson will now step up to the role of Head Coach. A familiar face, he was already a key member of the Ladies coaching team and has been a huge supporter of the section since the start (although we think it’s mainly because he loves a bus trip!). Andy will also be joined by a strong coaching support team, with some old and new faces.

We’re a dedicated bunch and are continuing to train Monday and Thursday evenings at 7pm, at Holmpark. As always, new players welcome!
