Bishopton Mens Rugby - Age 17+
Our thriving Men’s XV will be enjoying life in Tennent’s West Division 2 after clinching promotion during the 22/23 campaign. The attractive brand of winning rugby the guys have played has drawn sizeable crowds to Holmpark and has also helped attract a number of exciting new additions to the squad for the upcoming season.
Pre-season kicks off in early July and new Head Coach, Carl Bates, is looking forward to building on last seasons success. League fixtures commence on the 2nd September with a big Renfrewshire derby at home to Paisley who will be still smarting from our previous encounter, which resulted in Bish lifting the Renfrewshire Cup.

We train on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30pm and play regularly on Saturday normal K.O. 3pm. New players are always welcome at training and due to the growing player numbers we hope to be playing a number of ‘development fixtures’ in the year ahead too.

Ready to Play
- Old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty / muddy
- Waterproofs / Tracksuit if cold or wet (we have changing rooms)
- T-Shirt or base layer if cold and outdoors
- Sports Mouth Guard
- Football or Rugby boots (we train on grass and 4G in winter)
- Rugby shorts – we have socks and other kit available for sale
- Team strips (top) when playing games are provided
- Water bottle (please avoid high energy drinks)
