Bishopton RFC was the 2nd rugby club in Scotland to achieve accreditation for Positive Coaching Scotland in association with the Bill McLaren Foundation.
Lead by Andy Jackson, his enthusiasm and drive for this project was a major factor in our successful accreditation. Our thanks to all the coaches at our club (and I’m pleased to say that there are loads of us now!) who gave up their time over the past few weeks to participate in workshops run by the SRU. Continuing the thanks to the parents and kids who attended the “Parent Workshop” and were part of the award ceremony. Our club continues to grow and be recognised at all levels – happy days.

Along with the dedication and support of Winning Scotland Foundation and the Bill McLaren Foundation pushing for improving the way sport is coached and perceived in Scotland. We continue our accreditation process not only on the pitch, but through workshops and coaches training.
