Captain's Comments

The strong start to this season to date has been bolstered by the pre-season commitment shown by the players both young and old. It is refreshing to see many of the junior section now starting to rub shoulders with the seniors, and it is with such youth that the club will undoubtedly start to gain further momentum.

The opening cup game against Cowal (47-19) produced some of the finest attacking rugby that Bishopton has seen, and the opening league game against Hyndland (15-3) laying down the marker, that whilst the team may be young, they are certainly a force to be reckoned with in defence.

If such commitment to the game and to the club can be maintained for the remainder of the season, then there is no reason that the club cannot compete for league promotion

Here’s our continued successful for 2013/14
